Sacramental Preparation at Christ the King is available for children 2nd grade through 5th grade, who have completed a year of Faith Formation last year through Religious Education (Family of Faith) or Catholic school.
Sacramental Preparation is for Christ the King Parishioners who attend weekly Mass and participate in the life of the Parish through time, talent, and treasure. Registering with the parish is available by clicking here. If you are not a registered member of Christ the King, please contact the Director of Evangelization & Catechesis.
Classes for children and parents are on two to three Sundays a month after the 11AM Mass. Lunch will be provided after Mass from 12:15-12:45pm. Class begins after lunch and ends with family Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 1:45-2pm. Childcare is provided.
Parents are primarily responsible to teach their children from the Signs of Grace sacramental prep curriculum at home and are supported with supplemental teaching from the Sunday classes.
Sacramental prep is a specialized track of our Family Faith Formation program (Religious Education) called "Family of Faith." Parents and children will be enrolled in Family of Faith as a way to deepen your relationship with other members of our parish, your relationship with God and strengthen your Domestic Church.
